PLEASE PRAY!

For those of you who are ever around Sarah, Kelly, Cheryl, Michelle, Beth, or I, you've probably heard of guy named Paul from our camp. He is the camp director, and helped many of us come to Christ. He is such a great romodel of someone living their lives for Christ, and has spent his life helping kids get to know JESUS! He recently fell from a tree stand at camp, and has to have surgery tomorrow, Wednesday at 1:45. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM. It is a serious surgery, and his wife, and two boys are pretty shaken up. Please lift him up in prayer...

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! Pray for my family, that we can all get along, and have a good time. Pray that I can be slow to anger, and not stress out too much. I love you all!

Speech Meet

My speech meet went really well. I was the tournament champion in one of my events! This means that I beat a girl that went to state in both of her events last year! It also means that everyone stands for me, and claps! And I got a medal. I worked really hard, and I hope I continue to do well for the rest of the season. I can't come to the Thanksgiving eve eve service tomorrow cuz of a speech meet my school is hosting. I hope everyone has a good time. I love you all, and I love the holidays, and I love JESUS!

I'm excited!

Today I leave for a college visit to Trinity! And I get to see someone named AMY who is soooo awesome, and she is just a fun person to be around. (from camp) We are all going to have a blast! Woo Hoo! I am sooo excited, it's like the only thing that has been keeping me going this week, and now it's finally here! I'll see everyone for Rake and Run, lol I'm skipping play practice to go! Woo Hoo!

You give and take away

In the song, "Blessed Be", there is a part at the end that goes "You give and take away" and every single time I sing that, I am reminded about how true that is. God has done that so many times, it just keeps me focused, and really helps me understand some things.
So, it seems like a never ending theme, but I am so stressed, and things with my dad...aren't good. Like man........I thought it was getting a little better..and then it isn't what I want it to be. And then I said some stuff that..just sucks..and it just hurts me cuz he's my dad, and I want so much more with him, but it isn't there...and I feel like we're going backward. It makes me so upset. I'm really glad there is some B.S. (bible study) tonight cuz I need it mighty bad.

The long haul

This part of the year is what is known for me as the long haul.
It's the time that I do a zillion activities at once, homework gets harder, and the time that I'm longest away from camp. It's the time where I don't make enough time for God, and when I get stressed out to tears more often then not. I bet a bunch of you are having similar expieriences. Oy, back to work I go!
